Inauguration Cookies

Inauguration cookies!  I was so pumped I brought these into the office.  I love doing the zig-zag effect on cookies... almost to a fault.  Then the bottom ones are suppose to be eagles, but the zig-zag ruined the shape (see, I told you I loved the zig-zags to a fault). 

 

Lots of Love

Loving these! Not only were they delish, but the pink icing and pink sprinkles were the right amount of fun :) Click on the photo below to check out the lighting off of the sprinkles. Love! Can't wait to come up with some more Valentine's themed cookies/cakes. What a fun holiday!

Mickey Mouse

Where have I been?  Still baking, just forgetting to take photos of the creations!   At Disney I bought the very cool Mickey Mouse cookie cutter and had a go at it this weekend.  I'm having a hard time making black icing and so the black ran a little.  I heard they were pretty good, even though they look kind of goofy (pun intended). 

Anniversary Cake

My little team at work is celebrating 5 years and they asked me to make the cake. Not sure how I feel about it how it looks, but it tasted good!

Ghost Cupcakes

Cubs cupcakes

These could be made for any team really, but I made them the week the Cubs tanked in the postseason. But at least they were yummy, right? GO CUBS GO (in 2009)!

I love these, they are too cute!
